Rivan Pikes Peak Hill Climb

As a professional landscape photographer based in Denver, Colorado, I was recently tasked with creating scenic timelapse sequences of Pikes Peak for Rivian to use in their promotional videos. Rivian's new fully electric truck, the Generation 2 R1T, was participating in the race and they needed captivating visuals to show off the stunning location. When I got this assignment, I knew I needed to find a shooting location displaying Pikes Peak's prominence from up close. I chose a small meadow off Rampart Range Road for my shooting location. I was surprised to find a large field of wildflowers in a meadow, which would be a great foreground for the timelapses. I shot sunset, night, and sunrise timelapses using two cameras and a variety of lenses. Check out the finished videos from Rivian and my photos below!
